Paul himself, who penned the oft-quoted “exceedingly abundant” phrase, did a fair amount of writing of joy and peace in the middle of his own difficult circumstances. He used terminology like, “My God shall supply all of my needs according to His riches in glory.” Paul found his life sufficiency in Christ. But what are these “riches in glory” to which he refers?

No. 1: First, have a pretty good idea of what you’re getting into before you start. Running a company is not a 9-to-5 occupation. And much, if not most, of running a business has little to do with the quality of the product or service you sell. You have to work long, hard and smart. And learn new things. Fifty percent of new businesses close (not fail) during the first five years, often because their owners didn’t realize how much time, expense and uncertainty would be involved.
So that’s where we need to start. The definition of whatever success means to you must created and written out in a detailed plan. You don’t need to know every step to take in order to get you there; but you need to have a general sense of direction and an overall plan for its attainment. When you fail to do this, you can’t really categorize these as goals, but more so as hopes and wishes.

One of the most important elements of using visualization tools is to find the methods that best maintain constant focus on your objectives. Some people find different forms of visualization more powerful than others, so we’ll help you find the visualization styles that infuse you with the most intense sense of confidence and optimism. In addition, you’ll learn how to combine your new visualization tools with more positive ways of interacting with others, helping you to live and behave like you have already accomplished your goals.
Or change your state through experiences. Little daily things are big. When I was going through my rebirth — changing my state, I found joy in little things like a good workout, motorcycle rides, meaningful conversations, enjoying different foods, and hanging out with my tribe. These are all things I had in front of me. I didn’t have book deals or my own company. I punched a clock. I was in a job I didn’t like (but later realized it was one of the most important chapters of my life and would position me for bigger things.) The process of finding joy in your life is what creates you to connect to yourself. This is the gold. This connection to self is what makes you a super magnet to attract.

The financial newspaper Investors Business Daily (IBD) asked these same questions a few years ago and started a multi-year search for the answer. They studied industry leaders, investors and entrepreneurs to understand the traits they all had in common that contributed to their success. Reproduced here is their list of 10 Secrets to Success along with my commentary on each no-so-secret, ‘secret’.

Rhonda Byrne published in 2006 the film The Secret wherein she emphasized thinking about what each person wants to obtain, but also to infuse the thought with the maximum possible amount of emotion. She claims the combination of thought and feeling is what attracts the desire.[27] The Secret says your subconscious mind can control everything that happens around you, including both positive experiences, like having someone call you from miles away, and negative experiences, like death. The Byrne underlines the power of the subconscious mind by asking the reader to take full control of these thoughts, in order to achieve things in life, with the mind, as much as with action. Another similar book is James Redfield's The Celestine Prophecy, which says reality can be manifested by man.[28] Man and the universe have a force of attraction between them similar to a magnetic attraction. The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy, says readers can achieve seemingly impossible goals by learning how to bring the mind itself under control. The Power by Rhonda Byrne, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, and The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle are similar. While personal testimonies claim the secret and the law to have worked for them, a number of skeptics have criticized Rhonda Byrne's film and book. One New York Times book review calls the secret pseudoscience and an "illusion of knowledge".[29]
Living “as if” can be a powerful way to help yourself to manifest love. What this means is that you should try to live every day not as though you’re looking for love but as though you’ve already found it! Embrace self-love and dress as you would if you were spending time with your partner. Try to make space for them in your home. See yourself as a person with a loving soulmate and a bright future, and make plans accordingly.
Thanks for your comments. Since you obviously have advanced knowledge on how to use a law of attraction, I assume that you have achieved all of your goals and fulfilled all of your dreams. Now you are a very rich millionaire trying to help the rest of us. Actually, you wouldn't be doing that because as LOA founder Wallace Wattles said "do not talk about poverty...do not spend your time in charitable work,...all charity only tends to perpetuate the wretchedness it aims to eradicate."
I find myself admiring these people who seem to surmount insurmountable difficulties simply by not giving up. They suffer embarrassment and sometimes humiliation, and yet they do not give up. Sometimes I see a child in school who is like that, and I know—and I tell the child’s parents-- that that child will turn out okay. I know that child will catch up, because it is the single virtue of persistence that makes for success. Things happen faster when you let go and be patient. If you keep worrying about it, you are thinking about lack. if you let go of it, there's no resistance. What's there to block you? I like the example of gravity that Supernova gave us about the plane notion. we can still fly planes despite gravity. Otherwise without gravity we would keep ascending into the depths of space! The same way, you can attract nothing despite LoA actually attracting it for you.. Adding to this, there is still the force of gravity acting on the plane but the net resultant force is upwards. The same way, you think the law of attraction won't work for you but in fact it's the law of attraction giving you the stuff that is needed in order to change your mindset that it will not work for you and hence go to the default issue that many people have. You have the thought that it doesn't work for you. However, if you change that mindsetby looking for proof that it does, you will see that the law of attraction helps you MUCH MUCH MORE.
Since the Law of Attraction teaches that like attracts like, it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that attracting love requires you to be a loving person! And it’s not only the romantic sense of love that matters here. There are little things that you can do to spread love every single day—one of the best examples is simply being nicer to strangers.

Hey Elizabeth! So when visualizing the love life I want, I know im supposed to focus on the feeling of the relationship. But when I do, should I be visualizing an ideal partner? Is it okay to visualize a person I had a romantic encounter with but no longer want to have a relationship with them? It’s just easy to get the good feelings from this past relationship, but I want to meet someone new.
It is not immediately obvious what it means to be successful in life. The term is used generally to describe a professional success, that is, a signal achievement at work, indicated in part, but only in part, by having made a lot of money. Sometimes success means preeminence in politics or science or sports in a manner that does not necessarily imply financial attainment, but rather public recognition. Those who become famous in the arts or by virtue of charitable acts or acts of bravery are thought to be successful also. Others speak perhaps less conventionally of successfully raising children and grandchildren. That is not what most people mean by success, but a good case can be made for that achievement being especially important; and different societies have regarded the work of bringing up the next generation as critically important.
On June 23, nearly 200 Abundant Life friends and supporters attended our first ever Art of Building Community benefit dinner at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Showcasing artwork from Abundant Life students, the event began with music by the Chickenhead Blues Band and a catered dinner by Mission BBQ. The program included moving testimonials by former participants […]
The point is, you can go through any personal development program in history. Any of the great books “The Secret” and “Think and Grow Rich”. An Anthony Robbins program. The real masters all understand the same secret. It’s not just the tools and techniques that make a difference. It’s showing people how to open a channel to abundance that really counts.
The journey of welcoming your Soulmate is a journey towards your authentic nature.  It’s not a journey of finding somebody who is going to love you, make you happy, or give you something that you don’t already have, but rather it is a journey of growing yourself and your own capacity to love yourself first before you can love others or welcome and recognize their love.  It is about becoming more yourself, doing all the necessary clearing out, and embracing all the darker, subtle, shadow aspects of yourself that you’ve been unwilling to look at.
I LOVE this book! The journaling activities are soooo powerful. Combine the journaling with the even more powerful affirmations and you will attract a love you never thought possibly. This book is not only about attracting a new love, but provides tools for transforming existing relationships and letting go of unhealth relationships. Buy this book and see where Love takes you...
Be sure to start this list by stating whether if your Soulmate is single, straight/gay (yes, you must be that specific) and available for a healthy, loving, committed, long-term relationship (or marriage if that is what you want.) Also, be sure to include that he or she lives close enough to you, and/or is willing to relocate if necessary for the two of you to be together. It is very important that you do not get too attached to this list, but rather release it by saying to yourself, “I welcome this, or something better!”
Pastor Joshua moved to Texas from Idaho in 2002 to attend Abundant Life School of Ministry and earn a certificate of Biblical Studies. After graduating from ALSOM, he transferred credits to Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma. There, he continued to study Biblical courses and then moved to Regent University in Virginia to study history and additional religious courses. His continuing education and deep, daily studies of the Bible have given the ability to communicate the Gospel to diverse crowds.
I’ve been dating my boyfriend for almost a year now and we live together. In the beginning of October things were bad, he forced me to move out thinking it would help things, which surprisingly it did. I thought this would only make things worse, I was constantly worried he would cheat on me, go behind my back, and betray me; like he has before. We were still together, just not living together. A week later after we spent some time talking and working through things, I moved back in. Ever since then over the few weeks things have been great, he’s treated me amazing, however I still have a fear of, “what if he is treating me like this but is potentially going behind my back?” A few days ago he had a missed call from a number with a area code of where his ex lives, I do not know if it was her, a telemarketer, or just a random wrong number. But it is has worried me over the past few days. I also worry when I’m at work and he’s at home, what he’s doing. I try so hard to imagine us happy and trying to believe in everything he says to me is true and sincere. I just have major trust issues. I care for him an immense amount and would do anything for him, I love him very much. However, I do believe that I would be okay with out him.. eventually in time. I do not want this to happen, but you said you have to imagine yourself being able to let go of that person. He is for sure the person I want to spend the rest of my life with, and I never want to lose him. What I am confused about is, if I am using the Law of Attraction to attract him more into my life, what if he is using the Law of Attraction to attract a different person in his life, such as his ex, instead of me. Which situation with manifest? He is not the type of person to ever think about these, he doesn’t even know what the Law of Attraction is, but I believe he could subconsciously be doing this and not even knowing it. Again, I think way too in depth about things and sometimes just make it worse for myself.

The Law of Attraction is a deep subject and you seem to only have a very superficial understanding of it paired with a closed mind. The reason most people aren't excellent at it is that most people have very deep seated beliefs about limits and have a lot of fearful thoughts that they pick up from society. Even babies pick up and mimic the negative moods of those around them.
3) No Action: The only way to manifest your thoughts into things is to believe and live as if you’ve already accomplished your goal. LOA guru Esther Hicks said, “You did not come into this environment to create through action.” Action shows the Universe that you know you don’t have it and that you doubt its ability to manifest it for you. While it is obvious to most that action is a necessary component of goal achievement, it is completely inconsistent with a belief in a LOA.
But here Chesbrough’s unique history helped him come up with an alternate scenario, reminding him of a tool he had seen as a young man working the railway: the jackscrew, a device used to lift multiton locomotives onto the tracks. If you couldn’t dig down to create a proper grade for drainage, why not use jackscrews to lift the city up? Aided by the young George Pullman, who would later make a fortune building railway cars, Chesbrough launched one of the most ambitious engineering projects of the nineteenth century. Building by building, Chicago was lifted by an army of men with jackscrews. As the jackscrews raised the buildings inch by inch, workmen would dig holes under the building foundations and install thick timbers to support them, while masons scrambled to build a new footing under the structure. Sewer lines were inserted beneath buildings with main lines running down the center of streets, which were then buried in landfill that had been dredged out of the Chicago River, raising the entire city almost ten feet on average.
It’s quite clear then that in order to succeed in life at any endeavor, we need to set specific goals. But, not only do they have to be specific, they have to be S.M.A.R.T.E.R. goals — goals that are specific, meaningful, achievable, relevant, and time-based. Those goals also need to be constantly evaluated and the plans re-adjusted in order to attain them.
