My pleasure. I’m glad you found the response helpful. Melody is great, I have been a fan of hers for a long time. Focusing on that will do wonders for you..just wait and see! Getting what we want doesn’t have to involve doing a bunch of stuff we don’t and it doesn’t have to be painful, contrary to the more common ways of thinking. Several years ago, I visited Korea for a week when I was on vacation from my teaching job in Japan. I was only able to see Busan, but loved it. I would love to go back and see more of the country.
Hi Elizabeth, I’ve read your book (loved it!) and the “rules” for those of us who want to manifest an ex, seem a little more demanding and complex… What if your ex wants nothing to do with you, or appears not to want to? What if they are telling everyone they are moving on and happier without you and are going toward greener pastures and they are open to meeting someone new? Secondly, how does one visualize happiness when still hurting, and how does one visualize good things and “let it go” when the memory of the breakup is still recent and fresh. Any tips on how to switch off emotional pain and memories, and just concentrate on the good? I just feel that manifesting an ex back is a great deal more challenging (and yes it is him I really want) because of the history there which simply can’t be erased or forgotten….
I was thinking the same. I've never heard a "professional" man of his age, speaking like such a catty little 15 year old girl. If you read all the comments you can see how he speaks down to/mocks every person who disagrees with him, while sarcastically throwing little digs in wherever he can. I came to this article looking for evidence to discredit the LOA. I just can't seem to take anything he wrote seriously because of his unprofessionalism. Very narrsassitic.
"It's nothing specific that you're going to do. It's more about the energy underneath the doing that's going to then become magnetic, or become something that then attracts someone specific into your life. Knowing that, this is my saying I say all the time, or it's a very common saying, but you don't attract what you want, but you attract who you are. This also works for relationships. The first part I want to give to you is understanding how we must be in our own movie. Any time we're asking this question, we're automatically coming from the frame of us trying to become a part of someone else's movie, especially if it's someone specific. The idea is that we are putting this person on a pedestal, and we're doing everything we can to get them into our life. We're trying to get into their reality, into their movie, and bring them into ours.
Deal-breaker items could include: if the person has some form of alcohol or substance addiction or abuse, if they are married or in another relationship, if they are physically or verbally abusive, and even if they smoke. For some people, smoking is not a big deal, but for me, I just can’t stand kissing someone after they’ve had a smoke, so I decided to include it in my deal-breaker list. What are your deal- breakers? All you need is three.

So, if you have a big goal that you want to someday achieve, you have to start by giving it your energy and attention. Canfield recommends going a step further, and acting as if you are already where you one day want to be. That way, you are already embodying the success you want to have, and you will use the law of attraction to reach your goals more quickly.
If you are really struggling with relationships, there is something happening deep inside that is creating the outcomes you keep experiencing. You are getting something you want, you are protecting yourself from something you fear. You have some sort of image of yourself that deems you unworthy of love. Again, this may not vibe with your conscious mind, that is in a constant state of wanting happiness and good things. You are not cursed. You are not some horrible person that only deserves douches. You have the power to change this, if you are willing to do the inner work and take responsibility. And by responsibility, I don’t mean blame. Two very different energies there. One empowers us, and the other keeps us feeling terrible.
You’ve got to put a roadblock on the sled path. Stop telling the OLD story and start telling the NEW story! The NEW story of how you want it to be. The story of what it’s like to be in the most magical, loving relationship with your Soulmate. Starting now. You’re going to start catching yourself when you’re chatting with friends and the OLD story starts to creep out. Notice it. Then shift to the NEW story.
Pastor Joshua moved to Texas from Idaho in 2002 to attend Abundant Life School of Ministry and earn a certificate of Biblical Studies. After graduating from ALSOM, he transferred credits to Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma. There, he continued to study Biblical courses and then moved to Regent University in Virginia to study history and additional religious courses. His continuing education and deep, daily studies of the Bible have given the ability to communicate the Gospel to diverse crowds.
The Law of Attraction is among the most popular of the "Universal Laws". Advocates of this mind-power paradigm generally combine cognitive reframing techniques with affirmations and creative visualization to replace limiting or self-destructive ("negative") thoughts with more empowered, adaptive ("positive") thoughts. A key component of the philosophy is that in order to effectively change one's negative thinking patterns, one must also "feel" (through creative visualization) that the desired changes have already occurred. This combination of positive thought and positive emotion is believed to allow one to "attract" positive experiences and opportunities by achieving resonance with the proposed energetic "Law".
"It may not be exactly as you imagine it – say you make $35,000 as a writer and you imagine making $100,000. You may get an offer in a different field that meets the money requirement or possibly a different style of writing than you might be used to or an assignment that you did not expect. Point is, you will get what you ask for, even if it is not exactly as you had imagined. Now if you have no job and no income and ask for a Maserati, you probably won’t get it. You might, however, meet a new friend who has one and get to drive it," Estes states clearly.
Why does a person keep smoking cigarettes when they know smoking might give them cancer? Why does an overweight person keep eating when they know they should be dieting? Once again: they’re doing more to avoid pain than to gain pleasure. But there’s also one very important thing to note about the pain versus pleasure paradigm: we will always do more to avoid pain in the short term and not in the long term.
Third, when this occurs, the truth is revealed to the mind. You see, the mind has a clever way of hiding our behavior from us in order for us to avoid pain and gain pleasure. When we overspend frivolously in areas we know we shouldn’t be overspending, the mind has a way of covering it up so that we can avoid pain and gain pleasure for as long as possible. That’s why most people have difficulty looking at their overdrawn bank accounts or over-the-limit credit card statements or just about any other bill that will cause pain.
"Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron, and I help people expand their consciousness. In this video, I'm going to be showing you how to attract a specific person into your life, or to get an ex back in your life. With this video, I was asked literally probably four or five different comments and different YouTube, plus messages on Instagram and Facebook this same question. How do we attract an ex back into our life, and I figured the easiest way to answer this would be via video, so here we are. I'm going to be taking you on a journey of understanding three main concepts behind this principle of what we must do, how we must go about this, in order to open up the probabilities of us being with someone in that way. First off, realize that coming here, you may have expected me to give you some technique, maybe some type of something that you do that makes it so that person wants to be with you, but realize this is more about understanding that this about who we become. Depending on who we are being, that is what we are attracting in our life.
Thank you for that piece of advice-should I remain in a constant state of “as if” with no attentiin on what is? Or should I focus in what I want, relax, and accept what is? Normally I focus in meditation on my intentions, relax, and allow my manifestations to occur—but, normally I am also not as Concerned about what I want to manifest. Should I be doing it differently?
