Hi JG – I’m glad you’re enjoying my book on attracting a specific person! Detachment will come with time. Don’t worry so much about whether you’re doing things right. The Law of Attraction isn’t about perfection. Also, as I discuss in the book, focus on doing things that make you happy. It’ll be far more effective than trying to cover the doubts up with affirmations.
As I mentioned earlier, the process of spiritual growth and development is one of releasing and letting go of old ways of being and embracing the new aspects of ourselves that are wanting to emerge. And welcoming your Soulmate into your life, as an expression of this growth, requires that you now begin by clearing the decks. This means beginning to remove all of the obstacles that are stopping, hindering, delaying or even distracting you from having the relationship that you truly want to have. How? By Healing your heart, De-Cluttering your Mind, Releasing the past and Making Room for Love.
Banish guilt and feelings of self-doubt from your life and your internal world forever. No negotiation. I did it, and it worked like a dream. You have no more right or need to feel any more guilty than a butterfly. And like a butterfly, you are free to fly and celebrate your uniqueness today. You are ready for a life of awesome results and celebration. But are you ready to give yourself permission to do this yet?
Abundant life teachings, that God is a good God who wants to bless people spiritually, physically, and economically, were championed by Oral Roberts in the United States after World War II, with his faith healing ministry having the most effect. These teachings came at a time when many equated poverty with spirituality, and sickness with God’s discipline and punishment. He included the term Abundant Life in the name of many parts of his ministries, such as The Abundant Life television program, the Abundant Life magazine, the Abundant Life Prayer Group (ALPG), and the Abundant Life Building used as his world headquarters.
When we talk about true love, commitment is more than just monogamy. It represents that your partner cares for you as much as you do. He/she wants to be with you for the rest of his life. Commitment believes that no matter what, you both are there for each other even in worst situations. This is one factor that should be equally shared by both the partners.
Step 1 is important because it prepares your mind and body to receive whatever you’re asking for. Our brains don’t know the difference between reality and imagination. When you engage in full, sensory imagination, your brain fires up your body to move forward. Muscles, blood flow, heart, lungs and every part of your body gear up to take part in whatever you’re imagining.
You are describing how it is desirable to have the good and bad. Death is good. Aging is good. Disease is good. I don't necessarily disagree with your premise. However, these are not the things that people typically want or desire to fill their lives. When you talk about creation and destruction being natural phenomenon, I agree. But invoking the law of attraction should stop the destruction part if that's what I want to attract. This is irrespective of it being objectively good or bad.
So what does that tell you? Well, when I asked myself the same question years ago before I started doing this work, what I realized was that in order for me to attract and manifest my Soulmate, I must somehow develop and grow myself into the kind of person that I myself want to be with. In other words, if you haven’t found the right person it’s probably because you are not being the right person! As Marianne Williamson says, “We must become the person we want to attract.”
Gabriel…I have been going for energy healing sessions since years now and have been working on myself…..I must admit that I still have apprehensions on manifesting my soulmate desires and often wallow on self pity despite all the inner work I have been doing…..however, reading this article today has completely opened my heart and mind and given me so much hope and positivity…..you are absolutely right in quoting that our soulmates are within us all along…..I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to you for writing such an articulate, poignant and powerful article for us…..thank you so much for opening our heart to love and creating our own reality……thank you for telling us that IT IS possible and IT exists for each of us…….much love
Last year, my relationship ended suddenly. In hindsight, I had fears about abandonment and deservability, and I now see that these were limiting beliefs that colored my reality. Over the past year, I have worked on healing myself from the inside out and am incredibly proud of how I have grown. There has been no drama, just a quiet respect that if he felt that he needed space to grow and evolve, I loved him enough to let him go. While contact has been minimal, I still wake up each day with a smile and a heart filled with love and promise. He is with me even though we are apart; and I have hope beyond my current reality that our paths will cross again, and comfort and peace in that certainty.
To experience profound transformation in any area of your life, you must first become conscious of the truth that the circumstances of your outside world correspond precisely with the nature of your inner world and are attracted to you by the Law of Attraction. According to this Universal Law, like energy attracts like energy. You do not need to learn to apply it or work with it because it always does whether you understand it or not. To attract anything you intend into your life you must learn to bring your thoughts and your actions into vibrational harmony with the essence of your choice and leave the rest up to the Law of Attraction. Essentially, all you need to do is work on yourself.
Hi. I was in a relationship with a guy for awhile but we split in 2008. Since then he has had a girlfriend and I think they still live together. I have dated since then but have been unsuccessful in finding that combustible chemistry that I had with him, with someone else. We would always reconnect on and off throughout the entire time we were broken up until last year. We both sort of faded and haven’t been in touch for about a year and 6 months now. We may not be meant to be together but I miss the initial friendship we had prior to us being in a relationship; we were so close and complimented each other well. I have let go, forgiven and accepted what was and what is but recently felt intense energy wanting him back in my life and it’s never been this intense since the first couple of months following the breakup. I have been single ever since, but have gone on plenty dates as I am never lacking suitors. I am no longer in love with him but I do still love him and miss his presence, chemistry, companionship and energy. I have accomplished many goals that I’ve set but there’s this void that has yet to be satisfied, which I’m afraid can only be fulfilled by him or someone/something similar. I’ve read that letting go will attract, which I have done but he hasn’t completely come back. I never pressure, I play it cool and may even come off passive. When we reconnect, I hide my hurt and heart and don’t mention getting back together because I feel we’re not at the point yet. I was his first girlfriend and he was my first boyfriend as well. I’ve given it space, time and room to breath as I trust in divine intervention as well as universal laws. I’ve thought happy and positive thoughts, I’ve even tried to create visuals in my mind but nada. What could be going on? I miss him a lot.
My ex and I broke up only because his parents believe that he does not need a relationship with a girl in this time in life. (He just started college). I am so in love with him. We started dating my Senior year, (I am in my second year in college) & ever since that time we started dating, I had this feeling inside my heart that just knew something special was about us. We have been broken up since this summer, and I am trying my best to do everything the LOA teachers express you should do. I have to admit, there are only a select number of days out of the months I’ve been practicing the LOA that I have been completly happy. I believe that I spend alot of focus on missing him, which of course brings more missing him. This week I have found a way to completely be happy, therefore I manifested a message from him. (We are not allowed to communicate with each other so I never know when I will get to talk to him). I asked him during that time if he would fight for us, fight for us to be together and by his actions and words, he pretty much wants us to wait, just like his parents want him to do. This is the whole reason why I am using the LOA to bring him back, so I don’t have to wait. I believe we can all be a happy family right now in this time! Basically my question to you is; Can going by the advice in this article help me with manifesting my one huge burning desire. Considering this involves three people now. Will being okay and happy without him create him back into my life WITH his parent’s approval?
I find myself admiring these people who seem to surmount insurmountable difficulties simply by not giving up. They suffer embarrassment and sometimes humiliation, and yet they do not give up. Sometimes I see a child in school who is like that, and I know—and I tell the child’s parents-- that that child will turn out okay. I know that child will catch up, because it is the single virtue of persistence that makes for success. My fiance and I had a very close knit relationship. As a matter of fact, we didn’t like being apart much at all. Unfortunately, life had us spend the last 8 months away from each other, because of work. It took its toll on the relationship which had already started to suffer because of financial reasons. And one day, almost out of the blue (well I could kind of feel it coming) , two days after telling me how he couldn’t wait to see me, and adored me, he sort of picked a fight, and broke up. From one day to the next, he completely closed the door on me. We went from constantly talking and missing each other, to nothing at all. I have been going through a very difficult time especially because I know that he didn’t break up because he didn’t love me, but he simply was not fulfilling his dreams fast enough because of our financial issues and felt that he had sacrified a lot for my ambition and put his on the backburner. We have had to speak a little because 5 years with someone, you can’t just go NC like that. Logistics had to be sorted out etc…. But he has become very cold all of a sudden, and I heard that it was the only way for him to get over it. He’s also moving to French Polynesia for 2 years. He says that moving forward and far away helps him deal with getting over us… In any case, our relationship was beautiful on the whole, but we simply had a break down in communication when it came to dealing with the pain of separation and money issues. I want him back of course and I will apply your advise from “Manifesting Love”. I know he is my soulmate as I am his. That much I know. However, he is moving so far away. I am going to be in the US and him in Tahiti. Do we even stand a chance? He could meet someone else, or just forget about me….I am lost. It’s only been 6 weeks and I am grieving. I don’t want someone better. I want him because we were something awesome. We just allowed fear to rule our lives….Need some TLC and encouragement :(… Thanks

Hi, I have been seeing a guy for 5 years. I am in love with him but we dont talk about feelings. He cheated on me a year 1 of our relationship for 6 months. He has his own place as I have kids from another relatioship. when i found out i was heart broken as I did not expect this but I took him back. I feel anxious when im not with him as I feel he is going to cheat . I am using loa to be positive and have gratitude with the good things we do. He does not want to commit as he is thinking babout his life and moving forward and im not part of his plans. I feel the fear and cant let go as when we r together its great, How else can i make this work
Worry is a lower vibrational energy and can unintentionally create the very things you don’t want to create, such as him pulling away. If you look back over events, you might notice how things you’ve been worrying about have now been created, and how problems may have begun around the time you started worrying. You wouldn’t have had to say anything to him. The Law of Attraction works whether you want it to or not. The key is to focus on feeling good, doing things that make you happy. That’s the place from which you can create what you want.
Gratitude is another crucial aspect within the Law of Attraction, which can be key in helping to unlock the abundance of love that is waiting to bring glorious color into your world. Being grateful for all of the love that you are already blessed with in life, no matter how little this may be, is a sure way of encouraging a greater abundance of love into your life.
It’s important to understand that mindfulness isn’t about changing anything or trying to understand it. This is because the analytical and judgement aspects — our automatic reactions — are unhealthy and actually perpetuate the problem. It reinforces the connection in our brain between the action and the negative feeling. To release that connection, approach it without judgement. Let it be.
The law of attraction for love is a philosophy that supports the belief that if you express love, you shall be definitely loved in return. It tends to use the creative processes that are in our minds to make us get attracted to the specific people we wish to be attracted to. The law tends to work consciously or unconsciously in everyone and it does not require any form of procedure to be applied, it just happens. The law of attraction for relationships mainly revolves around our thoughts. It means once you as an individual finds someone who shares the same thoughts as you do,then definitely you will be attracted to the person either consciously or unconsciously. Through this, the sense of love grows and the love ultimately develops in a relationship..
The Law of Attraction is not a new phenomenon, the theory behind its teachings has been around for ages. The release of the movie The Secret in 2006, based on Rhonda Byrne's book with the same name, created a media blitz that brought the teachings of the Law of Attraction to new heights, awakening thousands, if not millions, of people to this ancient truth.
It wasn’t until the morning after our little ‘party’ that I noticed something taped to the refrigerator – something that impacts me each time I read it. It was the IBD 10 Secrets to Success. Once my head cleared, I quickly copied them down and read them over and over again. After our vacation I made copies and posted them in my home office and inside a journal I decided to keep.
After relocating to the Gulf Coast, his powerful and dynamic speaking ministry began to herald the good news of the Gospel with authority. The gifts of the Spirit through the gifts of healing, faith, miracles, word of knowledge, word of wisdom, and prophecy are experienced in services every week at Abundant Life. The human mind is wired to do whatever it takes to avoid pain in the short term, and not necessarily in the long term. It’s part of our survival instinct. It’s built into our DNA, and is also the foundation of the fight or flight response. We are always looking to avoid pain in the short term. If we were trying to avoid pain in the long term, do you think the same person would keep smoking, keep over-eating, keep gambling, or even keep drinking alcohol? Of course they wouldn’t.
