I cannot praise this book enough. It is very well laid out, easy to understand, to the point and gets one started very quickly on bringing change to one's life. i have been trying to use law of attraction for some time now, specially when it comes to love because there is one specific person that i am in love. but somehow i am doing something wrong because things don’t manifest the way want… i don’t know what i’m doing wrong. i don’t know if it’s my energy that is negative, if it’s me that is not believing enough, if it’s the way i vizualise things… i even made a visualization board, i write and think about the things that i feel grateful for, every night i imagine myself with that person and that person feeling the same way for me as i do for him but it doesn’t seem to be working… this law of attraction process is very hard, how do i know what i’m doing wrong?
The most powerfilled state is when you start living a through me life. And you can’t do that if you just keep make it about you, feeling lack. Start living for your purpose, to help others, and to give. Yes, you can still want the Audi R8 and collection of motorcycles like I do. But those are just things and they won’t truly make you happy. “Things” will be the by product of living a purpose filled life.
I really enjoy reading your posts and learning about opening up to deep and fulfilling love. After heart shattering loss over the course of the last two years I am now in the process of putting myself back together again. It’s still pretty messy but I really want to learn to love myself and be the best version of myself, for me and for my soulmate who I know is out there waiting for me to be ready for forever.

You are certainly on the right track with what you are doing, and you are certainly lining yourself up for an amazing relationship. That is where a lot of people struggle with LOA in general, and relationships in particular–it can be really hard to feel okay with how things are now when we want them to be different. Feeling okay with being single and feeling that fulfillment with life in the absence of that other person can be a challenge, but it is necessary to let in a GOOD relationship.
The degree of your self-acceptance will dictate the quality of your relationship. If you try to manifest a relationship when you're full of desperation and you have low self-esteem, you may indeed succeed, but the relationship will almost certainly be sub-par. You might drive your partner away, unconsciously cause drama in your relationship, or--more likely--attract a partner who is not good for you.
Thank you for your comments. Hard to be positive when talking about the LOA. It's focus on blaming is pervasive. I am a positive psychologist and have proposed a new way of looking at attraction called the Principle of Attraction. As a Principle, like tends to attract like. Positive thoughts, feelings, actions, and words often attracts positivity...but not always. It's not a law, it's a principle, based on positive and social psychology.

Other than that, the parameters of success are actually pretty broad. You can be successful as an extrovert, or as an introvert, you can be successful if you get up at six and start your day with birdsong, and you can be successful if you work late into the night. You can be successful if you believe in yourself and you can be successful if you are ridden with self-doubt. Equally, the same principle works in reverse. Some unsuccessful people have incredibly high opinions of themselves.


The Law of Attraction is one of life’s biggest mysteries. Very few people are fully aware of how much of an impact the Law of Attraction has on their day to day life. In this vein, the Law of Attraction can provide the optimism and proactive attitude that's associated with resilience in difficult situations, but must not be used as a tool of self-blame. Our responses to the challenges we face can make us stronger in the end, and the Law of Attraction can be used for that end, but should not be applied negatively, or it can be more destructive than helpful.

The analogy is simple: if you’re carrying a passenger in your car, there won’t be room for your Soulmate to sit in it!  So, if you’re still in love with this person, but you know that they are not your soul mate and/or there is no possibility of a true, loving, committed relationship with them, it’s time to let them go.   This does not mean you have to stop loving them. It simply means that you have to find a new space in your heart for them, a special chamber where you will put all the people whom you have loved in the past.

If you want things in your life to get better, focus on the solution, not on the problem. Your thoughts generate the action you take in your life. If your thoughts are soaked in negativity, your action can't be resourceful. Instead of focusing on the elimination of a problem, focus on what you can create instead. 4. With regard to whatever worries you, not only accept the worst thing that could happen, but make it a point to quantify what the worst thing could be. Very seldom will the worst consequence be anywhere near as bad as a cloud of “undefined consequences.” My father would tell me early on, when I was struggling and losing my shirt trying to get Parsons Technology going, “Well, Robert, if it doesn’t work, they can’t eat you.”

I am so glad you found the post helpful. That is great that your faith in the ability to consciously create our reality is growing. As it does, you will see more and more ‘proof’, which will just reinforce that, setting of a wonderful cycle. Just always remember to be patient, and make your core focus feeling good about the work you are doing. Find content that resonates with you, and really focus on learning from those sources. That encounter with that person definitely shows you are moving towards what you want. Being able to truly be ourselves will make the process of attracting a relationship so much easier, you have no idea.
It is still me Elisabeth. The one thing i did not tell you is that during the lonelyness of my boyfriend he met a collegue from his work and she is feeling lonely too, she is married and has two children, but she is unhappy.. So they started to meet each other and talk. He told me there is nothing..no feelings..he is only happy she saved him when he was felling very bad (because of me). It is ok for me. But I know it is not the same for her. She is trying something. And do not want to loose him. I am happy if he has a friend that helps him when I was not there. But it is not a nice situation. How to think??? What to do? I know I do not have to think about “them” and that he leaves me for her even if he tells me know he is not interested..but I have to do something if there is still a possibility he loves me a little. Please help..thank you.
The most challenging part of acknowledging and accepting the truth of what the Law of Attraction has to offer is coming to the realization that every single one of your decisions in life, good and bad, have been shaped by you alone. For many, this can be a bitter pill to swallow, especially if you feel that you or your loved ones have been dealt some particularly hard blows in life.
"It takes roughly three times of repeating the positive ideas to negate the negative thoughts. Try a vision board. List five things you want to focus on this month and constantly repeat them daily like a mantra. For example, my vision board says, 'Money flies at me from all directions.' Sometimes, I get a large-paying client, and sometimes, I simply find a quarter on the street. Point being, money is coming to me from everywhere. After you focus on what you want, you need to keep in that mindset. If you allow any negative thoughts to creep in, you will reverse or negate all the work you just did," Estes recommends.
Remember even we who all preaches LOA etc have not reached to the potential of understanding the power that a human really has. Everyone has their own understanding and they put it accordingly. You yourself has abundance of energy.. believe in yourself.. you go to others only when you have doubts… remove this doubt and enjoy what you have now and also the one that you desire.
2) I was told by some people who also follow the LOA methods that manifesting someone specific was not advisable because it was going against the wishes of that said person if that’s not what they wanted anymore. He’s made it very clear that it is not what he wants at all. Am I wrong for wanting the love of my life back and just be given a genuine chance to see if things could work again?
This entire reality is your creation. Feel good about that. Feel grateful for the richness of your world. And then begin creating the reality you truly want by making decisions and holding intentions. Think about what you desire, and withdraw your thoughts from what you don’t want. The most natural, easiest way to do this is to pay attention to your emotions. Thinking about your desires feels good, and thinking about what you don’t want makes you feel bad. When you notice yourself feeling bad, you’ve caught yourself thinking about something you don’t want. Turn your focus back towards what you do want, and your emotional state will improve rapidly. As you do this repeatedly, you’ll begin to see your physical reality shift too, first in subtle ways and then in bigger leaps.

Third, when this occurs, the truth is revealed to the mind. You see, the mind has a clever way of hiding our behavior from us in order for us to avoid pain and gain pleasure. When we overspend frivolously in areas we know we shouldn’t be overspending, the mind has a way of covering it up so that we can avoid pain and gain pleasure for as long as possible. That’s why most people have difficulty looking at their overdrawn bank accounts or over-the-limit credit card statements or just about any other bill that will cause pain.
