I had a clear vision of what happy looked like and since it wasn’t my reality, I didn’t allow myself to be happy. Since the brain is Velcro for negative experiences, it is natural that we worry so much. It's just the brain's tendency. Keep a worry list for 2 weeks. The minute you start to worry write it down. This not only helps release the heavy energy that often keeps us stuck, but at the end of 2 weeks you will notice none of the worries were warranted. Your brain will have proof that worry is a waste of energy.
Above all, find ways to be happier now, no matter what is going on. Make your happiness and well-being a priority. I have some questions about letting go of resistance. Looking back, I could finally let go of resistance by going on lots of dates and making myself exhausted, get sick and tired of trying to find the right guy. Hi Elizabeth..AJ here again…I bought your book last night and read it in one setting! Good stuff! I will be reading it again today so I can start the work properly and really soak it all in. I have a question…my guy and I haven’t talked to each other for 2 weeks. But we are both still on the dating site we meet on few months ago. I know I am doing no contact, but with him still being able to see me and I being able to see him…does that kill the mystery of him missing me and will it hinder me from fully letting go? I am just trying to stay open and not block anyone that maybe better…even though I want the chance to see where things can go with him with the proper realignment. Hi Shona, If you want to successfully use the Law of Attraction for love for a specific person, you need to overcome your fear. Your thoughts and emotions create, so if you continue to be afraid, you will create the things that you fear – his cheating, his not wanting to commit, etc. Sometimes the easiest way to overcome fear is to think about the worst thing that would happen if things didn’t go the way you want them. Often, that worst fear isn’t all that bad, and it’s easy to then let the fear go. Other times, it might be necessary to use tapping or EFT to get rid of the fear.
The preparation for welcoming your soul mate requires that you make a conscious commitment to start healing the deepest wounds of your heart. The first thing I would say about your situation is to carefully examine whether you are just trying to ignore negative feelings and think ‘happy thoughts’ or you are actually thinking and focusing in a way that makes you FEEL better. The feeling is where we attract, not in casting aside negative thoughts, only to have that energy remain and grow.
1) I have had a rather bad break-up with my boyfriend. All in all, he wants to move on completely and says that while he loved me and cared about me at the time of the break-up he simply wasn’t happy anymore and wants to move on to a new city, life etc… We have so financial dealings together but he says he no longer wants to worry about it because keeping in touch about cash isn’t healthy and we both need to move on. He has made it clear that there is no way he would get back into a relationship with me. And of course, after being told this I wrote him an angry email giving him a piece of my mind. While I love him more than life itself and visualize us being together again I must say that I find it very difficult to imagine us together, based on the way he seems to feel (or not feel…) about me. How do I let go of thinking of the outcome when all I can do is think about him and that perhaps he will meet someone else soon, or already has etc….
Think about the qualities you seek in the person you want to attract. These qualities are very personal and vary from individual to individual. Remember, there are no limits to what you can want.  Be specific about what is important to you; think about what you want in detail.  A great way to get some clarity is to make a list of the qualities you find attractive and the values that you admire in other people.
