Imagine for a moment that it’s a beautiful winter morning and there’s fresh, pristine snow on the ground.  You walk up to a hill with your sled, and slide down and take your first trip down to the bottom of the hill.  This first time, your course was pretty random, right?  Then, you walk back up to the top of the hill once more and you sled down again. Okay, the odds are that you’re going to hit at least some of the grooves you created the first time that you went down.


Under laboratory conditions, cutting edge science has confirmed that every thought is made up of energy and has its own unique frequency. And when this energy and frequency of a single thought radiates out into the Universe, it naturally interacts with the material world. Of course, it has long been known that matter, or physical objects, are also just packets of energy at the sub-microscopic, quantum level. And so, as your thought radiates out, it attracts the energy and frequencies of like thoughts, like objects, and even like people, and draws those things back to you.
The Spiritual Explanation: Many people believe that the Law of Attraction works by aligning God or the Universe with our wishes. We are all made of energy, and our energy operates at different frequencies. We can change our frequency of energy with positive thoughts, especially gratitude for what we already have. By using grateful, positive thoughts and feelings and by focusing on our dreams — rather than our frustrations, we can change the frequency of our energy, and the law of attraction brings positive things into our lives. What we attract depends on where and how we focus our attention, but we must believe that it’s already ours, or soon will be.
Israel Regardie published books with the Law of Attraction theme as one of his prevailing Universal Laws. In, The Art of True Healing: A Treatise on the Mechanism of Prayer and the Operation of the Law of Attraction in Nature (1937), he taught a focused meditation technique to help the mind to learn to heal itself on a physical and spiritual level. Regardie claimed that the Law of Attraction was a valid method for attracting good physical health and for improvement in any aspect of one's life.[63]
Develop a belief in what I call the “reverse paradigm shift”. In other words, go for it before you have all the answers. Those so called negative energies (known as cognitive dissonance) are actually the magical seeds of creation and unlimited possibilities. Your destiny and your abundance will always be preceded by confusion and uncertainty. Ask anyone who’s been on the journey.
There are dozens of different ways of incorporating your knowledge of the Law of Attraction into your everyday life, letting your new skills shape your day from morning to night. While that might sound like an overwhelming undertaking, the truth is that simple changes have powerful consequences when you’re working with the Law of Attraction. After a few weeks of practising your new approach, much of it will become second nature.
I do not claim to have all of those things either. However, I do have most of the things that I described and I managed to attain them through my value-based goals, plans, process-visualizations, and inspired action. Before you begin to embark on the incredible journey towards true enlightenment in the Law of Attraction, it is important that you understand that you can apply it to your life and it can be effective if the correct tools are used. The practices and beliefs in this law have been igniting the lives of great individuals throughout the course of history.
Let me say what I mean by success: success is the ability of individuals to reach their own goals and achieve their own purposes. I do not mean goals such as becoming a movie star, or winning the Nobel Prize in literature or becoming the President of the United States. Or simply making more money than everybody else. By that standard virtually no one is successful. But I think it is possible for these individuals and others to find in other ways those satisfactions that are associated with those lofty achievements, namely, recognition, admiration and a sense of importance.
"Secrets of Success" by Sandra Anne Taylor and Sharon Klinger is a very compelling and helpful book. The "Secrets of Success" is a very valuable guide that gives information on how to combine the law of attraction, and a connection to the higher forces of the universe. This book is important if you are aware and/or believe in the concept of your higher self (and heavenly spiritual helpers). I say this because "Secrets of Success" gives some great information on how to connect with your higher self and other spiritual helpers. The forward of the book is written by Dr. Candace Pert (her website lists that she received her Ph.D. in pharmacology from John Hopkins University). I found it informative the way she took the time to write how her background ties into what is about to be covered. The way that she mentions her work with Sandy at the beginning really shows concern and intensity in making sure that Sandy's ideas and her work harmoniously blended for effectively getting the message across for "The Science and Spirit of Real Prosperity". The "Secrets of Success" book lists some of the following excellent information:

Deep down, I know there will be more chances for me out there and therefore, I will meet the love of my life but my brain tells me that I shouldn’t have done that. This will be the ultimately fulfilled abundant life.


I really like the book. It has much information for you to process so it is not a one sitting read. The book does get it about energy and give you suggestions on how to work with your energy. I affirmations are good but I have found as I have progressed I have modified them to fit my progression. I would suggest this book to anyone. I have used this book with Denis Linn Soul Coaching and Donna Eden's Energy Medicine techniques.
7) No Compassion: Don’t get involved with anything negative like charity or helping the needy. This will attract more negativity and poverty. Wallace Wattles, a LOA founder wrote, “Do not talk about poverty; do not investigate it, or concern yourself with it. Do not spend your time in charitable work, or charity movements, all charity only tends to perpetuate the wretchedness it aims to eradicate.” and “Give your attention wholly to riches; ignore poverty.” Rhonda Byrne in The Secret takes this a step further, “If you see people who are overweight, do not observe them…If you think or talk about diseases, you will become sick. What you think or surround yourself with – good or bad, is what you will bring upon yourself.” If you believe in a LOA avoid any of the “helping or health” professions such as physician, nurse, hospital worker, clergy, psychologist, police officer, paramedic, etc. Avoid professions in which you deal with poor people such as accountant, mortgage broker, banker, lawyer, etc. While research shows that charitable work, empathy and volunteering is beneficial to both the giver and receiver, avoid these things if you believe in a LOA.

I stumbled on your page a couple weeks ago. I’ve been coping with post partum depression for the past few months. Although medication has absolutely helped take the edge off, ever since reading your words I’ve felt a consistent and steady rise in my feelings of happiness. The medication helped stabilize my depression, that’s true, but your words helped me tap into my joy. Joy I haven’t felt in years, possibly since I was a child myself.

Physical compatibility in a relationship need not always mean love. There are many versions of love, and romance and lust are two basic ones. True love includes commitment, trust, respect and contentment. If these things lack in a relationship, it is definitely not love. A lot of people justify physical violence with passion. Passion in a relationship is definitely a natural phenomenon, but there’s a thin line between being passionate and violent. If you find your partner being too harsh on you, both physically and emotionally, then it’s not love.

Remember that there is a difference between sending out a hope that something you'd like to happen will happen and putting in the appropriate effort or planning to ensure that something actually will happen. If you don't believe that something will happen, perhaps you're not willing to plan and work for it. You need a balance of both hope (to inspire) and effort (to achieve) for an outcome to be realized.
This step is important because those competing signals can be quite strong. Weaken the signal or change the direction of those thoughts like this: Approach those feelings with the love and compassion that you would feel towards a lonely, small child or a hurt animal. When you love yourself, you open up the possibility to receive your greatest desires, and you begin to only desire the things that are best for you.

Hi again, I just recently posted a question, well I thought of something else that I didn’t mention in my last question. See I am sort of confused a little with Letting Go part/the “being okay without him” part. The LOA states to visualize and feel your desire, like you already have what you want. Basically focusing on you is the major part of attracting a specific person, and of course being okay with not receiving what you want, letting go or detachment. If visualizing myself with my man makes me happy, if thinking about my man & I’s new relationship makes me happy, then that is okay to focus on? I’m confused as to how I’m suppose to do both, visualize and also let go at the same time..
first of all I love your book and have read it twice. I used your method to attract someone back after he had gone and it worked. As it is a long distanced relationship we didn’t see each other often so things had fallen apart, and we broke up recently again. I want to attract him back using LOA again. This time is a bit difficult for me as it’s the second time manifesting the same person, and now I get a bit confused: as I have to ‘let go’, do I still have to visualise every day? In the “letting go” period, should I think about him, or just making myself happy? I am training myself to visualise better but I find sometimes the feeling of love is strong but sometimes not at all (probably because the long distanced has dragged us down and it is the second time manifesting the same person). Will making myself happy work in order to manifest in this situation? I do believe Universe is making it happen for me but I would like to know if I have to feel ‘in love’ when I think of him. Thank you.
Often times what you experience in others are perfect reflections of thy self, in some beautiful (and not so)  way. So it’s important to ask the questions — “What can I learn from this relationship about myself?  What here could even be symbolic about ME?”  Dealing with a bully doesn’t mean you ARE a bully — but might truly be a reflection of a fear you need to work at, (since bully’s are just small and fearful).  So be open to it.  If you experience it, you own it…somehow.

Your experience is a common one with manifesting, regardless of the desire. We do all this work, inner and outer, we don’t get the results we want, we get super-pissed, say f$ck it, and give up. Then usually some good stuff comes in from the positive momentum that has been built up, now that the massive resistance has diminished. Now, while doing a lot of stuff that makes us feel badly, or taking a lot of action for a long time without results, usually leads us to a point where we surrender, it is not the best approach to take because it isn’t necessary. It’s not something you want to consciously do. You don’t want to force yourself into surrender. You can take action if you feel compelled, but just make sure it feels good, and you don’t get attached to those channels as being the way that person must come to you.
As for manifestations that involve another person, you probably don’t want to put too much focus on that because we can’t create in another person’s reality. No matter what we do with our energy, it can’t ‘translate’ to someone else and make them do anything. Now, this isn’t to say that you can’t ever get back together with this person, as that may possibly be the best representation of the energy and feelings that you are trying to attract into your life–remember that no matter what we want, we are always after a feeling. What also happens sometimes is when we make changes in our own energy, we line up with different ‘versions’ of people, even if they have fundamentally stayed the same, and this can make it easier to get along with them,etc…

Ask the Universe for it. Make your request. Send a picture of what you want to the Universe. The Universe will answer. See this thing as already yours. See How to Visualize. The more detailed your vision, the better. If you're wanting that Nintendo Wii, see yourself sitting down playing a game on it. See yourself feeling the controller, playing your favorite game(s), touching the console. If there's that person you have a crush on, see yourself walking with them, touching or caressing the person, or even kissing the person. You get the idea.


Be sure to include in this group only positive, trustworthy people with whom you can share this journey, and who can hold your vision with you.  And, be sure to exclude any friends or family members who are skeptical, negative, sarcastic and who can actually bring you down.  That’s the last thing you need! Then you hear about a fast easy concept that can save you. There’s a chance you can still get what you want! A vine to pull you out of your quicksand. Of course you’re going to jump on that train.
Hi. I was in a relationship with a guy for awhile but we split in 2008. Since then he has had a girlfriend and I think they still live together. I have dated since then but have been unsuccessful in finding that combustible chemistry that I had with him, with someone else. We would always reconnect on and off throughout the entire time we were broken up until last year. We both sort of faded and haven’t been in touch for about a year and 6 months now. We may not be meant to be together but I miss the initial friendship we had prior to us being in a relationship; we were so close and complimented each other well. I have let go, forgiven and accepted what was and what is but recently felt intense energy wanting him back in my life and it’s never been this intense since the first couple of months following the breakup. I have been single ever since, but have gone on plenty dates as I am never lacking suitors. I am no longer in love with him but I do still love him and miss his presence, chemistry, companionship and energy. I have accomplished many goals that I’ve set but there’s this void that has yet to be satisfied, which I’m afraid can only be fulfilled by him or someone/something similar. I’ve read that letting go will attract, which I have done but he hasn’t completely come back. I never pressure, I play it cool and may even come off passive. When we reconnect, I hide my hurt and heart and don’t mention getting back together because I feel we’re not at the point yet. I was his first girlfriend and he was my first boyfriend as well. I’ve given it space, time and room to breath as I trust in divine intervention as well as universal laws. I’ve thought happy and positive thoughts, I’ve even tried to create visuals in my mind but nada. What could be going on? I miss him a lot.
By choosing to stay in an endless cycle of negativity and by dwelling on what isn’t, rather than what could be, how is the universe expected to be clear on what you are looking for? Focusing on the bad luck that you may have had in past relationships or dwelling on your inadequacies can only serve to further increase these misfortunes and hold you back from the love that you so truly deserve.

2) De-Cluttering your Mind. De-Cluttering your Mind means exactly that.  It means letting go or releasing any fears or beliefs you have about love that are keeping love away from you.  For example, many people believe they have some kind of fatal flaw or secret that may repulse others.  For women, it normally is something physical, and for men, it is normally something in their financial situation or career. These insecurities will lead you to have thoughts such as:
Start with a great haircut, neat nails, and well-shaped eyebrows (if eyes are the windows to the soul, eyebrows are the frames). Invest in a tailor—and in a few no-fail items that will help you look pulled together: a crisp white shirt, a pencil skirt, a great-fitting shift dress (just add shoes and go!), a tissue-weight scarf, and the perfect jacket. Whether it's a black blazer with a structured shoulder and nipped-in waist or a little leather jacket that looks great over anything, the right jacket projects confidence. And isn't that what polished really means?
Hello, I am hoping you can help me with this…. I’ve read that being excited to manifest your old love, or just a new relationship in general is okay. I feel so excited when the Universe shows me my signs of my desire. I’ve recently realized that whenever I see those signs, it makes me anxious to receive. The law of attraction manifests through your thoughts, by drawing to you thoughts and ideas of a similar kind, people who think like you, and also corresponding situations and circumstances. It is the law and power that brings together people of similar interests, who unite into various groups, such as political groups, sports teams, sports fans, fraternities, etc.

The awesome LOA blogger Melody Fletcher termed the manifestations that show up to indicate we are on the right path as ‘breadcrumbs.’ The thing is though, many of us misinterpret them as ‘bad’ things that show us we still don’t have what we want. Sometimes, a manifestation is not just going to fall right into our lap—this is especially true of ‘wants’ that are really big and important to us–we typically have a lot of resistance to work through. Just allowing it in, in its full form, immediately, usually can’t happen.
Creative visualization is a cornerstone of using the Law of Attraction, and meditative exercises are part of this process. For example, you are encouraged to spend 10-15 minutes a day on building an increasingly detailed image of the life you want to develop. Imagine you’re having a dream. In that dream what exactly are YOU? Are YOU the physical dream character you identify with? No, of course not — that’s just your dream avatar. YOU are the dreamer. The entire dream occurs within your consciousness. All dream characters are projections of your dream thoughts, including your avatar. In fact, if you learn lucid dreaming, you can even switch avatars in your dream by possessing another character. In a lucid dream, you can do anything you believe you can.
Since you’re the only intender, this is entirely an internal conflict — within YOU. You’re holding the thought (the intention) for both people to want the same position. But you’re also thinking (intending) that only one can get it. So you’re intending competition. This whole situation is your creation. You believe in competition, so that’s what you manifest. Maybe you have some beliefs (thoughts and intentions) about who will get the promotion, in which case your expectations will manifest. But you may have a higher order belief that life is random, unfair, uncertain, etc., so in that case you may manifest a surprise because that’s what you’re intending.

You are welcome. You seem to already have that deeper knowing..now it is all about building that trust and working a bit with your mind to be more accepting of the beliefs and new reality you are looking to create. Everything that happens contains a lesson to strengthening our manifesting so whatever happened with that guy will be valuable in evaluating what is going on inside and moving forward with greater clarity.
The thing that's grand about spending your time thinking about the universe is that it makes you feel insignificant. I don't mean that in a bad way. If you understand that we've now discovered entire solar systems that contain planets similar to Earth, and that those are just the ones we know about, since most of the stars we've looked at are within about 300 light- years of Earth and the distance to the center of our galaxy is nearly 100 times that—then you realize that the laundry you've left undone and the dumb thing you said yesterday are about as significant as slime mold.

Unfortunately, we are not so great at naturally going to a happy place. But, with a strong intention, and some practice focusing, it is not as hard as you think. And, it’s okay if you don’t feel good every single second-you will still have your moments. The key is building up that momentum behind the good energy so that it starts becoming the predominant force.
Specifically, you attract love with people who are aligned with your vibrational state. So if you are down on yourself or lack confidence, you often find love only with people who treat you poorly and fail to recognize your worth. Therefore, looking for love with real intention requires you to form a deeper, more profound and accepting connection with yourself.
Realize you will likely have smaller manifestations first that show you are lining up more with what you want, like noticing more people you find attractive, when before, you saw no one, meeting people that have desirable qualities that you note as being important in a partner, or seeing more people "like you" in happy relationships, whether they are overweight, divorced or whatever personal characteristic that you think makes finding love harder.
Thanks for stopping by. Glad the post resonated with you. I think it depends. For some people, that focusing on something different may end up improving the current relationship in some way. For example, your shift in beliefs and energy may help you line up with a different version of your partner more often that is more conducive to what you prefer, and you find you are happier in this relationship and don’t feel like you necessarily want a new one.
Simply, the Law of Attraction states that you attract that on which you most focus. The obvious corollary to the Law of Attraction is the advice to focus on the things you want more of in your life – that you should spend more time thinking about what you wish to attract into your life than what you don't like. Unfortunately, most people do the opposite, always worrying and obsessing about their problems. While that's human nature, it needn't be yours.
Your thoughts have the power to create, so it is possible that you created this situation, but you can also turn it around. Let go of any worries or fears you have in regards to his ex. Be open to being in a relationship with him again and having him there 100%. Focus on being at one with being the relationship. Keep your vibration high by doing things you enjoy. The higher you can keep your vibration, the faster you should see results using the Law of Attraction for love to attract your specific person.

Hi Onique – You need to look over your thoughts, beliefs, emotions from the past to see why you created it in the past. You need to look at your current thoughts, beliefs and emotions to see why you are creating it now. There’s probably at least one thought/belief that has been repeated for 10 years and is still there. Changing your thoughts/beliefs allows your life to change.
We all long for that connection with someone else. It is natural to want it. It is okay to want it. The absence of it in our life creates a very strong emotional reaction. We notice the lack of a relationship constantly. There is a huge vibration of lack. What we are ‘vibrating’ now will determine what we attract into our experience now, so we need to clean things up here a bit.

In reality brain waves are slow 1 – 100 Hz. i) The universe hears nouns, not adjectives or qualifiers or only sees pictures of your thoughts. j) Every thought you have (about 70,000/day) has a specific frequency or wavelength of energy. “Thought Stuff” leaves your brain, travels through the ether around us and causes “Formless Stuff” to create whatever you are thinking about.

The Universe/God has an infinite and abundant reservoir of supplies, waiting to be delivered to the ones who sincerely ask for them. It doesn't judge anyone for asking for more, because, you are expected to live your life on this planet to the fullest. It is the limited thinking and the conditioning that we all have been exposed to from childhood which makes us fear the Universe/God; in fact it is not something to be feared at all. It's like the genie from the 'Arabian Nights' - Your wish is its command. Don't be scared. Go ahead ask for everything and anything that you want and believe that you have received them.
It’s important to understand that mindfulness isn’t about changing anything or trying to understand it. This is because the analytical and judgement aspects — our automatic reactions — are unhealthy and actually perpetuate the problem. It reinforces the connection in our brain between the action and the negative feeling. To release that connection, approach it without judgement. Let it be.
The source of abundant life is identified as the Spirit of God in Galatians 5:22-23, "the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance". A Christian is a person who has the Spirit of God (Romans 8:9) received according to the Biblical formula (Acts 2:38). Becoming a Christian means a change to a different way of life with a different purpose. Fulfilling this purpose and experiencing abundant life go together, as described by Matthew 6:33, "But seek you first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."[20]

Step 1: Essentially, you need to make the decision that you really want to attract this life partner. Then, truly commit to the idea of spending the rest of your life with this person. Making this commitment may involve processing old wounds (e.g. via journaling or therapy). Hopefully, the past can be left behind and you can opt to embrace hope instead of fear.

The Law of Attraction isn’t about perfection. Also, as I discuss in the book, focus on doing things that make you happy. So go test drive that car you want, or feel what it will be like to have the perfect partner in your life, because feeling is believing!
