It’s important to understand that mindfulness isn’t about changing anything or trying to understand it. This is because the analytical and judgement aspects — our automatic reactions — are unhealthy and actually perpetuate the problem. It reinforces the connection in our brain between the action and the negative feeling. To release that connection, approach it without judgement. Let it be.
I recently released some resistance about finding the right guy. And I had this weird experience yesterday. I felt like maybe I could meet somebody yesterday when I went out with my friend. And I actually forgot about the fact that I thought about it. And I ran into somebody at a book store and he actually told me something that I didn’t expect and I didn’t know what to say so I couldn’t respond properly. I actually was with my friend who had strong opinion against something and I was afraid if she might not like me acting certain way. Anyway, so I actually wanted to talk to the guy more but for some reason, I couldn’t. But I discovered some limiting beliefs. I realized that I need to be myself even though I worry what my friend thinks about me. And if she doesn’t support me, maybe she’s not good for me even though I really care about her as a friend. The reason that I couldn’t be myself yesterday was because I cared so much about what my friend would think about me.
Embrace failure. Failure always illuminates a truth about the methods you used, or the particular goals you pursued; interpret failure not as a badge of shame, but as a call for self-reflection. Sometimes it’s only through facing the insurmountable, failing, and then struggling to pull ourselves back together that we develop the tenacity we’ll need to succeed.

In reality brain waves are slow 1 – 100 Hz. i) The universe hears nouns, not adjectives or qualifiers or only sees pictures of your thoughts. j) Every thought you have (about 70,000/day) has a specific frequency or wavelength of energy. “Thought Stuff” leaves your brain, travels through the ether around us and causes “Formless Stuff” to create whatever you are thinking about.
Be the first one in and the last one out. If you are there early and stay late, you get a chance to talk to people who would not otherwise take your call. I built many relationships by being early. You can call the chairman of the board of almost any company early in the morning. If he’s a good chairman, he’s there. The secretary’s not, so he’ll actually answer the phone. The best time to strike is when gatekeepers aren’t there! When I started developing Bloomberg, I wanted feedback. So every morning I’d arrive at the deli across the street from Merrill Lynch’s headquarters at six a.m. and buy coffee (with and without milk) and tea (with and without milk), plus a few sugars on the side. I’d go up and roam the halls looking to see if there happened to be somebody sitting in their office alone reading a newspaper. I’d walk in and say, “Hi, I’m Mike Bloomberg, I bought you a cup of coffee. I’d just like to bend your ear.” Nobody is going to say, “Get outta here” if you just bought him or her a cup of coffee. When someone would occasionally say, “I don’t drink coffee, ” I would say, “Well, then have a tea.”
The problem was, after a couple of months I forgot about the secrets and they fell by the wayside. And so did my actions towards my goals. Well, I re-discovered the list and want to share it with you now. I hope you take these not-so-secret, secrets to heart and realize your dreams – whatever they may be.
Amazing, that’s what happen with me and my ex, we would break up and he would date other woman, and I would feel extremely insecure, jealous, crazy, and etc then he would put pics up of one chic and then cut me off. I was devastated, so now I got Elizabeth’s book and I am working on me, so that I can get the LOVE OF MY LIFE back and FOR GOOD this time, in my heart I truly, truly, truly believe we are SOULMATES, everyone tells me, that I should just move on, that I am a beautiful young lady and I will find someone else and that he’s not that into me, etc, but we where together for 4 years going on 5, and I had alot of negative doubts, and insecurities and we kept breaking up. But, I truly believe that he and I are meant to be, and I am so excited that I brought the book and am reading it, taking the steps, and working on me. Best of luck!!!!
However, we also usually don’t pay attention to the amounts of money that we spend on a daily basis on small expenses until it’s a little too late. As Benjamin Franklin once said, “Beware of small expenses, a small leak will sink a great ship.” He was referring to the small payments for things we tend to forget about or overlook. Yet, it’s those same small expenses that can add up to a lot of money over the course of a month, year, or even a lifetime.

OMG Elizabeth, you just hit me bang on. I didnt even know i was thinking this negative all over. Thank you so much. But can you please help me with a list of to-do things or steps i must do to change my vibrations and feelings in my situation. As of now, i think of our past days when me and this girl were good friends and we used to laugh, talk, do everything. However, i am not able to “let go” which is vital for the Law of Attraction to work. I have read many articles and books but i am not able to customize it in my situation. Thanks in advance. The law of attraction is not a magic wand. Because the brain preferentially scans and stores negative experiences, we have to consciously, habitually build the positive mental muscle. We all have layers and layers of stories, limiting beliefs, fears and blocks that have become the interior landscape of our minds and cannot be changed overnight just by thinking positive thoughts.
Things shift, people change, and your relationships can light up before your very eyes. Easy to do? Not always. Life changing? YES. Did they change? Nope. It was me, and because of my alignment with who I am, (love) and who they are (love) I am able to have an alternate experience. The Universe gets to deliver that relationship to you on a silver platter – and ways beyond what you thought was possible when you create consistency of thought.
By choosing to stay in an endless cycle of negativity and by dwelling on what isn’t, rather than what could be, how is the universe expected to be clear on what you are looking for? Focusing on the bad luck that you may have had in past relationships or dwelling on your inadequacies can only serve to further increase these misfortunes and hold you back from the love that you so truly deserve.
Kelley Rosano is awesome. I love her podcasts. I listen to her on iTunes. I watch her on YouTube. I follow her blog. She inspires and lifts me up especially when I am feeling down. Love and the Law of Attraction is a powerful book. It is easy to read and understand. You can move through the chapters quickly and apply the message to improve your life. Kelley gives you the teaching. It is up to me to do the work and apply what is here. I am using the book to change my life for the better. And, I am seeing that I need to work on my attitude. Sometimes I can be negative and I complain a lot. This pushes people away from me. I am curbing my sarcasm. I am watching myself and changing my bad habits. This book teaches you how to create the space for real love to enter. I am noticing too that the more encouraging I am with others and myself that this is improving my relationships. I feel more attractive. When I feel more attractive, I then feel my dreams can come true. And, I too can have what I want, a great guy, a beautiful home and abundance. My intention is live the abundant life with my soul mate.
The key is having clarity, and knowing what it is that you want. Why? So that you can identify it when you see it, feel it and hear it, and – most importantly – so that you won’t be sidetracked into a relationship with a person who is not the highest possibility for you. A person who is not your soulmate. Remember, there’s no need to settle for less than what you want. It’s like going to a supermarket without a grocery list when you’re feeling very hungry. If you’re anything like me, you may have bought a whole bunch of stuff you did not need but may have forgotten to buy something as basic as milk and sugar, which you really needed.
The New Thought movement (Law of Attraction Origins) grew out of the teachings of Phineas Quimby in the early 19th century. Early in his life, Quimby was diagnosed with tuberculosis. Unfortunately, medicinal treatment wasn't working, so he began carriage riding through his hometown, Lebanon, New Hampshire. He then regained his health and recovered, an event that prompted his study of "mind over body". Although he never used the words 'Law of Attraction', he explained this in a statement that captured the concept in the field of health:
I don’t believe the Law of Attraction is complete nonsense. I just believe it’s one piece of a bigger puzzle. It’s like the diet part to the diet and exercise needed if you want to change your body. 8) No Support: Since you will always attract what you think about, you need to avoid any type of support groups for people with mental or physical illnesses or for people with similar experiences. Research shows that support groups such as alcoholics anonymous, weight watchers, or breast cancer support are beneficial. The LOA incorrectly predicts that you will make your problems worse.
Loved your kindle book! It’s given me hope and most importantly a sense of serenity which I haven’t had since my breakup I’m afraid. Moving on is never as easy as one thinks. People tell you to go out with friends, have fun etc…But how does one go out and “have fun” when all restaurants, bars, lounges, clubs or car radios play music and music is the last thing you even want to listen to when your heart is breaking in a million pieces. So that alone, prevents one from moving on peacefully. But your book…I don’t know, just gives one hope. It is easier (at least for me) to “let go” knowing that getting back with the love of my life is possible. Frankly, moving on with hope, regardless of the result, is so much healthier than without it. So for that alone thanks! Now my question :))… I haven’t see my ex for the past two months. He’s very very reluctant to speak to me, and the very limited email exchanges we have had since the breakup have been cold (on his end) at best, though he does reply everytime. I know he is hurt and dealing with it in his won male way I guess…We are thousands of miles away from each other and I want to manfiest spending christmas together. Is is advisable to manifest a certain date? Does that give it more power, or takes away from manifestation? I dont’ want to be obsessive about it, I want to be easy about it, but I must say that this Xmas was supposed to be special for us and I would love for that to be the case eventough it is around the corner. It just seems that manifesting an ex back is almost more difficult than manifesting a specific person you know but have never had a relationship with…Probably because of all the baggage and history. Things happen faster when you let go and be patient. If you keep worrying about it, you are thinking about lack. if you let go of it, there's no resistance. What's there to block you? I like the example of gravity that Supernova gave us about the plane notion. we can still fly planes despite gravity. Otherwise without gravity we would keep ascending into the depths of space! The same way, you can attract nothing despite LoA actually attracting it for you.. Adding to this, there is still the force of gravity acting on the plane but the net resultant force is upwards. The same way, you think the law of attraction won't work for you but in fact it's the law of attraction giving you the stuff that is needed in order to change your mindset that it will not work for you and hence go to the default issue that many people have. You have the thought that it doesn't work for you. However, if you change that mindsetby looking for proof that it does, you will see that the law of attraction helps you MUCH MUCH MORE.
I am in a situation where the man I just got back into my life (applying the LOA) is saying he just wants to be friends. I don’t understand why because when we are together things are great. When we first got back cool after a nasty seperation, he was reaching out to me constantly. Then I told him I wanted to spend more time with him and it seems after I said that, things went sour and he jumped from wanting to be around me to saying nothing is there anymore and he just wants to be friends. No warning or anything. This is the man I want to be around. I am very happy with him and cannot be in the same place I was with him when we were on bad terms, I refuse to go back to that space! I have been saying affirmations like “I am fun to be around;I Am someone that comes naturally to ____; I attract ____ naturally. etc” I guess i’m in a rush to spend time with him due to lost time when we weren’t talking. PLease help me! I have a strong desire to be with and around this man.
