Hi Geoff! Thank you for your reply. I do understand the chapter is about getting an ex back. However, what I meant to ask is whether the same rule applies if the person you want to manifest a relationship with is someone you haven’t previously dated. You see I talk to him everyday and he often tends to talk about the girl he is with or unknowingly tells me how I mean a lot to him but only as a friend. And every time that happens I just can’t stop negative thoughts of fear and doubt cropping up in my mind, thus making it difficult for me to let go. So I want to know if I should maintain some distance, perhaps talk less often. The only issue here is that there isn’t really any problem between us. He knows I love him and we kind of sorted it out a couple of months back and have continued to be best friends. I don’t quite have a reason to suddenly cut down on talking to him and I am sure if I do that he would want to know why.
Under laboratory conditions, cutting edge science has confirmed that every thought is made up of energy and has its own unique frequency. And when this energy and frequency of a single thought radiates out into the Universe, it naturally interacts with the material world. Of course, it has long been known that matter, or physical objects, are also just packets of energy at the sub-microscopic, quantum level. And so, as your thought radiates out, it attracts the energy and frequencies of like thoughts, like objects, and even like people, and draws those things back to you.
The book first starts off with what happen in his life at a young age and then talks about how he gain his motivation get get past his circumstances. There are principle points throughout the book starting on Ch 4 which are very great as well. Each principle have a story about Eric's life that relates to each one. (Some of these will relate to your life) This is a must read for anyone and everyone regardless of your circumstances. It will give you motivation and make you rethink your choices in life for success.
Specifically, you attract love with people who are aligned with your vibrational state. So if you are down on yourself or lack confidence, you often find love only with people who treat you poorly and fail to recognize your worth. Therefore, looking for love with real intention requires you to form a deeper, more profound and accepting connection with yourself.
a) Electrons have positive charges. b) In physics “Like always attracts like.” [magnets?] c) Thinking burns up brain matter. d) Only ether (not air) conducts light and thought. e) Ether connects all minds together. When 2 or more minds come close together, “mind stuff” mixes, and creates a third, “master mind.” f) Higher altitudes have more oxygen, better air for breathing. g) Vibrating sound more quickly turns it into heat, then light, than thought. h) Thought energy is 40,000 Hz to 4 X 1014 Hz or above 7 x 1014 Hz. In reality brain waves are slow 1 – 100 Hz. i) The universe hears nouns, not adjectives or qualifiers or only sees pictures of your thoughts. j) Every thought you have (about 70,000/day) has a specific frequency or wavelength of energy. “Thought Stuff” leaves your brain, travels through the ether around us and causes “Formless Stuff” to create whatever you are thinking about.

13) Placebo Effect: Placebos are inactive, ineffective substances to which a positive effect has been attributed. The greater your expectations and beliefs that something will be effective, the greater chance it has of creating a positive response. The mind is a powerful tool. We can increase or decrease our heart rate and blood pressure through visualization. A few individuals using a LOA have a firm belief that it will work and so it does. People tend to have more success with the LOA for smaller items for which they did not make a vision board; finding money on the street, getting a check in the mail, hearing from a long lost friend, etc. Is a belief in a law of attraction any better than rubbing a rabbit’s foot, tossing a coin in the fountain, or pulling apart a wishbone? Test it yourself, the answer is no!
You’ve got to put a roadblock on the sled path. Stop telling the OLD story and start telling the NEW story! The NEW story of how you want it to be. The story of what it’s like to be in the most magical, loving relationship with your Soulmate. Starting now. You’re going to start catching yourself when you’re chatting with friends and the OLD story starts to creep out.  Notice it. Then shift to the NEW story.
2) A Wealth of Relationships (pg. 108-112): This is a valuable section on what to consider in inviting in wealth in all areas of your life. What I also find enjoyable is that the concept of love is mentioned in this portion, and the reasons for embracing, giving, and receiving love in all types of relationships, and the reminder that love starts with the self.

Energy of soul so strong and powerful and intense. Feels fear deep inside and wants to run away from feelings and try to cut contact off. The man runs in fear of love for he is not use to vibration with soul. Has internal conflict that drives him crazy for he doesnt understand soul love. He only understands what he can touch in physical and from his heart. He has never been exposed to soul love. Fear of the male is about the magical power of love and fear of the unknown and he thinks of running because he has to face the unknown. He needs space in his man cave to process. He fears change and loosing what he has built in in material world of life and what they possess in letting go or what doing now.. Needs to understand they have to have peace and love inside soul for nothing else matters. When he begins to live from the heart, self and soul with no fear then knows in heart that everything is o.k and is ordained by God.. He reacts in a different way from the soul and knows is is connected to pure Divine love and how to connect from heart and soul into Soul Love. He is calm in his soul with vibration of peace as he accepts the truth of this union. Real man listens to obey his soul and as he listens to intuition, it leads him from his heart what he needs to do to embrace this divine soul love union in this magical part of the partnership of magical love and exhange with twin. Has power to say, “I Love You” in front of eyes to twin for it is a prerequisite which allows soul relationship to flow and increase love at higher levels and is being his true self. He has embraced SOUL LOVE when uses this dignity to come out and not be afraid and share feelings and not run and hide them. Steps into real power next to his beloved he loves unconditionally. It is part of a Divine shift and process of evolution with your twin. Acceptance, will wake up refreshed and happy and weight taken off you. It comes in to clear your consciousness for everything to be o.k when you make shift. When you open to truth dont have to hide. Can say what have to say. Wanting twin for sex or lust is not soul love
Another issue that really causes resistance in the realm of relationships is finding love is so incredibly important to us. We are really attached to this manifestation; we are terrified of being alone, and it never happening. It is hard to just sit back and relax, knowing the Universe has got this. We are constantly noticing our single status, and lamenting it.
"Recognizing that you want to try something new and different is the first step. Figuring out where you’ve gone wrong is the next step. Recognizing the negative places in your life, and the mistakes you’ve made are important next steps towards using positive approach to manifest your destiny. And finally, focus on intentions and behaviors that are positive and geared for your successes," Masini adds.
Embrace failure. Failure always illuminates a truth about the methods you used, or the particular goals you pursued; interpret failure not as a badge of shame, but as a call for self-reflection. Sometimes it’s only through facing the insurmountable, failing, and then struggling to pull ourselves back together that we develop the tenacity we’ll need to succeed.[6]
The human mind is wired to do whatever it takes to avoid pain in the short term, and not necessarily in the long term. It’s part of our survival instinct. It’s built into our DNA, and is also the foundation of the fight or flight response. We are always looking to avoid pain in the short term. If we were trying to avoid pain in the long term, do you think the same person would keep smoking, keep over-eating, keep gambling, or even keep drinking alcohol? Of course they wouldn’t.

Imagine for a moment that it’s a beautiful winter morning and there’s fresh, pristine snow on the ground.  You walk up to a hill with your sled, and slide down and take your first trip down to the bottom of the hill.  This first time, your course was pretty random, right?  Then, you walk back up to the top of the hill once more and you sled down again. Okay, the odds are that you’re going to hit at least some of the grooves you created the first time that you went down.
You claim that "positive thoughts always resulting in positive things" is not the basis of the LOA. In part you are correct. The foundational basis in science, as I alluded to in the article was that thought stuff particles travel through ether (not air) and interact with formless stuff to create whatever it is that you are thinking about. This was how "the law" started.
If you are really struggling with relationships, there is something happening deep inside that is creating the outcomes you keep experiencing. You are getting something you want, you are protecting yourself from something you fear. You have some sort of image of yourself that deems you unworthy of love. Again, this may not vibe with your conscious mind, that is in a constant state of wanting happiness and good things. You are not cursed. You are not some horrible person that only deserves douches. You have the power to change this, if you are willing to do the inner work and take responsibility. And by responsibility, I don’t mean blame. Two very different energies there. One empowers us, and the other keeps us feeling terrible.
Start by paying attention to what you focus on. Do you pay attention to what's going right, or what's going wrong? When you're working on manifesting your dreams, obstacles and challenges will arise, but when you focus on what's right, you become an incredible problem-solver, which builds confidence and quickly raises your energetic vibration. You will move through obstacles quicker.
Focus on understanding your part in this overall process, rather than feeling guilty or ashamed. Recognizing how your fears have manifested in your life does not mean that the bad things in your life are your fault. It simply means that the Law of Attraction has responded to the signal you sent out. Just acknowledge that the system works and your new awareness will guide you. No need to shame yourself or even feel responsible.
